THOMAS WYLDE has become one of the most coveted international brands
that continues to re-invent the Rock-and-Roll aesthetic, leaving a
permanent imprint on the fashion industry. Within the first season,
THOMAS WYLDE reached critical success and branding previously unheard of
in the fashion industry. Founder, CEO, and Creative Director Paula
Thomas has been the visionary and driving force behind t...he brand.
Paula Thomas’s interpretation of this modern rebel has struck a chord
with women around the world. In a short period of time THOMAS WYLDE
gained worldwide attention and secured a dedicated celebrity following,
including A list celebrities such as Angelina Jolie, Sienna Miller,
Heidi Klum, Charlize Theron, Jennifer Lopez, Madonna, Rihanna, Hallie
Berry, Nicole Ritchie and Megan Fox to mention but a few. Miss Thomas’s multifaceted career spans
over two decades and writes the story of a woman whose drive and keen
eye have been the catalyst that propelled the THOMAS WYLDE brand to an
international platform. Discovered in her hometown of Birmingham
England, Thomas first realized enormous success as a top model, shot by
world-renowned photographers and gracing the pages of prestigious
publications such as Vogue, ID, The Face and Elle magazine. Venturing behind the scenes, she became
the creative partner of highly esteemed designer Julien MacDonald,
co-designing collections, selling to international buyers and dressing
celebrities. But she was destined to set out on her own and, despite
being asked to work along side Julien at the House of Givenchy, Thomas
realized her future design aspirations lay in a different direction.
THOMAS WYLDE was launched in 2006. The name is derived from her own
heritage; her Welsh father Robert Thomas and great-grandmother Catherine
Wylde. Inspired by her own Rock-and-Roll
sensibilities and the ability to take what some may consider grotesque
and turn it into a thing of beauty, THOMAS WYLDE embodies the spirit of
punk, yet has a luxurious sophistication and feminine appeal. Now in its
tenth season, the collection is sold in over 180 luxury boutiques and
department stores around the world. HOMAS WYLDE successfully debuted a home
furnishings line in 2007 and is currently in development with a
diffusion line, menswear, fragrance, and eyewear collections.source
